What to do when a drive fails
Stop using it at once. Do not keep restarting it, do not install recovery software on the same drive and do not open it. The sooner it is inspected, the better the chance of recovery. Afterwards we recommend the 3-2-1 rule: three copies of important data, on two kinds of media, with one copy off site.

Do you charge if the data cannot be recovered?
No. We inspect and quote first; if we cannot recover your data, you pay nothing.
My hard drive is clicking. What should I do?
Turn it off and stop using it; repeated starts can make the damage worse. Bring it in for inspection as soon as possible.
Is my data kept confidential?
All recovery work is done in-house, data is returned only to you, and copies are deleted on request when the job is done.
How long does recovery take?
Logical problems usually take one to three working days; physical damage depends on the case and we tell you after inspection.
